- ติดตั้ง WordPress ผ่าน Hostinger dashboard — ใช้ทีม Astra theme + plugin 2 ตัวคือ WooCommerce และ Starter Templates

Hey there, I'm Caleb and in this video I'll teach you how to set up your very own e-commerce website using WordPress and Woo Commerce. When I built my first e-commerce website, I remember feeling completely overwhelmed and I had no idea where to start. So that's why in this video, I'll break down everything that you need to know step by step. I'll guide you through every single step from start to finish. So just follow along and by the end of this video, you'll have your very own e-commerce website that's ready to take orders. Now, where should you get started? Well, we'll begin by getting your website hosting in a free domain. Then, we'll set up a greatl looking store using the best WordPress theme for e-commerce websites. Then, we'll build your store using a drag and drop template. So that way, you won't have to write a single line of code. Next, we'll add in your products, set up the important backend stuff like payments, shipping, and taxes, and by the end, your store will be live and ready to start taking orders. And the best part is that all the tools that we'll be using throughout this video will be completely free. The only thing that you have to pay for is your website hosting and getting that set up is the first step in building your e-commerce website. Hosting simply means renting space on a server to store your website files. That server runs 24/7 so your website is always online and accessible. So for this, we're going to use Hostinger. It's one of the best and also one of the most affordable hosting providers out there. In fact, it's one of only three hosting companies officially recommended by WordPress. And if you sign up using our partner link down in the description, you'll get an extra 10% off your hosting plan. So, make sure you use that link to save yourself some money. Once you're on the site, click on grab deal. This will bring you down to the plan options with the most popular one being the business plan. For this video, I'll be going with the premium plan, but in the future, if you decide that you want to upgrade, you can absolutely do so. So, I'll go ahead and click on choose plan. Now, you can choose your hosting period. 48 months will give you the lowest monthly price, but for this video, I'll be going with 12 months. This still gives us a great rate and plenty of time to launch and grow our store. And most importantly, we'll still lock in that free domain. Now, let's go to the bottom right here and click on continue to move on. And now we're brought to the Hostinger registration page. Go ahead here and enter your email address, create a password, and then click on register to create your account. Next, you'll need to fill out your billing information. I'll go ahead and do that real quick here. And once you have that done, go ahead and click on continue. And now go ahead and fill out your payment information. I'll go ahead and fill that out here. And once you have that filled out, go ahead here and click on submit payment. Now, with that done, click on get started. After checkout, you'll land on Hostinger's onboarding page. We're going to skip this for now by clicking on the Hostinger logo at the top of the screen here and then clicking on leave. This will take us to our dashboard where you'll see a few different to-do items. The first thing we'll do is verify our email address. As you can see at the top of the screen here, I have my email open in a different tab. I have an email here from Hostinger called verify your email address. Let's go ahead and click into this here and then click on verify email. Then we'll want to claim our free domain. To do that, go to the right hand side here and click on claim domain. Then we'll need to search for an available domain name. I'll enter mine here. Then I'll change this to end in.com and I'll click on check availability. The domain is available. So I'll click on claim domain. Hostinger will handle everything when it comes to your domain registration. And this will just take a few moments to complete. And as you can see here, it's asking us to verify our email address again to keep our domain online. So to do this, I'll go back to my email here at the top, click on my inbox, and I have a new email from Hostinger called verify your email address to use your domain. So I'll click into this, scroll down, and click on verify email. And now my domain is online and ready to be used. With our email now verified, go ahead and click on continue to move on. Next, we'll click on select under create a website and then we'll click on continue setup. I'll be building this website for my business. So, I'll click on this option here. Then I'll click on next in the bottom right. I'm looking to create a website. So, I'll click on this option here. Then I'll click on next once again. We'll be building our website with WordPress. So, we'll select this and we'll click on next again. Now, here is where we'll create our login details for our WordPress account. Hostinger actually autofills the information here using the information from your Hostinger account. So, if you're okay with using the same email and password for your WordPress admin, just click on next. But if you'd like to customize it, you can do so here. I'm okay with using the same email and password. So, I'll go to the bottom right here and click on next. Next, Hostinger will give you the option to choose a pre-built website, which is great if you want something done really fast, but for this video, we're going to be using a theme instead. So, that way we have a bit more control. So, click on use a theme instead here in the bottom right. And then we'll choose the Astra theme here, which is one of the most popular WordPress themes out there. With Astra selected, go to the bottom right and click on next. And on this screen, we can choose which plugins we want to install. Some plugins are automatically selected here, but I'm going to go ahead and deselect all of these for now, just to keep everything clean and focused. Next, we'll scroll down and select Woo Commerce since this is what's going to power our online store. Then, up at the top, let's search for another plugin called Starter Templates. Once you search for that, we'll go ahead and scroll up slightly here. This plugin will allow us to import a full ready to go store layout which includes the homepage, product pages, checkout, pretty much everything that we need. We'll go ahead and select it here. Then we'll click on next here in the bottom right to install Woo Commerce and starter templates. Now we'll choose which domain we want to use for the website. If you claimed your free domain earlier, it should show up here automatically. Just select it, then click on next to continue. Next, we'll want to choose where our website is hosted by selecting a data center. Hostinger will automatically select the best location for you. But if you want to, you can click in and scroll down to choose a different one. I'm going to stick with the default one here. And then I'll go to the bottom right and click on install WordPress. WordPress will be installed. And this will take a few minutes to finish up. All right. Now, we're in the WordPress dashboard. And the first thing we'll want to do is import a store template. We already chose our theme earlier. As you can see here, we have Astra. This is what controls our website's overall design and feel, but our theme is just the base of our online store. It doesn't come with any actual pages or layouts, and that's why we installed the starter templates plugin earlier. Now, I'll show you how to get access to hundreds of free templates for building your online store. But before we install our template, let's make a quick change in our settings to make sure that we have access to both of the primary page builders that you can use to build your store. While you're here on the lefth hand side, go all the way down until you see the settings tab here at the bottom. Go ahead and click into this. Then once you're on this page, just scroll all the way down until you see this option here. This is checked on by default and it disables the Elementor page builder. So we'll want to go ahead and uncheck this. Now click on save changes. Nice. Now you'll have access to both the WordPress block editor and Elementor. Next, to install our store's template, find the appearance tab here on the lefth hand side. You'll hover over it and click on starter templates. To choose your page builder, you'll have to click on the back button here in the bottom left. And now you'll see two options here for your page builder. The WordPress block editor and Elementor. For this video, I'll be using the WordPress block editor, which is a bit less flexible. But here's why we're going with it. Elementor is a bit easier to use and gives you more flexibility when it comes to building your online store. But to use it with Woo Commerce, you'll have to upgrade to a paid plan. So, to keep our store completely free to build, we'll be using the WordPress block editor. And if you decide that you would like to use Elementor to build your website instead of the WordPress block editor, we have a super helpful tutorial on this YouTube channel that I'll link in the card in the top right. So, I'll click on the WordPress block editor icon here. And now I have that selected as my page builder. And with that done, you now have access to hundreds of free templates. So, let's go ahead and find the one that we want to use for our store. Let's start by clicking on the ecommerce category here to see all of the store templates. And you'll notice that any template that has this yellow premium tag on it is a paid template. But any other template that doesn't have that is completely free to use. So I'm going to scroll down and I'll be building a clothing store for this tutorial. So I'll go with the fashion designer template here. And here you can actually upload your site logo. You can change the font and color palette if you'd like to do so. I'm going to change the font here. And I'll scroll down slightly and click on continue to move on. Next, we'll want to choose the features that we want on our website. And by default, you'll see that we have the page builder, our contact form, e-commerce, and SEO features selected. Just go ahead and keep all of these selected. And there are some other optional features here if you'd like to include them. I'm just going to stick with the default here. And then if I scroll down, you'll see that there are some additional plugins that will be installed and activated for us. But don't worry, these are all completely free to use. Once you're finished here, just scroll down and click on continue to move on. And then here, you don't actually have to fill out any of your personal information if you don't want to. So, just scroll down and click on I understand. Let's go. And then click on submit and build my website. Your website will now be built. And this again will take a few minutes to complete. And there we go. Our website is now ready. Let's go ahead and click on view your website. So this is what the homepage of my website looks like. And now obviously if you chose a different template, this is going to look slightly different for you. But no matter what template you chose, once you arrive to this screen here, you can start customizing your store and website to make it look exactly how you want. And you'll see that you have a few different options here at the top. The customize button allows you to change anything in regards to your theme. stuff like your global settings like colors and fonts and then also other things like your website's header and footer. If you want to access the WordPress block editor and start changing out the content on your website and also doing stuff like adding products, go to the top here and click on edit homepage. And this is what the WordPress block editor looks like. Here you're able to reorder the content on your website, add new elements, and change stuff like images and text. Like for example here, if I wanted to change this heading text on my homepage, I could highlight it here and click into it and then I could simply highlight the text and then I can change it to anything I want. And if I want to undo a change, I'll go to the top left here and click on the back arrow. If you want to add a new element to your website, click on the blue plus button here. And here are all of the different blocks that you can add in. You have stuff like text, images, buttons. You can add different call to actions. There's lots of really cool stuff here. So, I would just scroll through and see what you'd like to add to your website. And if I scroll all the way down here to the bottom, we'll find the Woo Commerce plugin. Later on in the video, we're going to come back here and actually use this to add products to our homepage. And if you're looking for a deeper dive into the WordPress block editor and you want to learn everything that there is about it, there are plenty of super helpful tutorials online just like this one. This video is more focused on Woo Commerce, so I want to transition into adding products into our store. To get started doing that, let's navigate to the top left here and click on the WordPress logo. This is asking if I want to disregard the changes that I've made to my website so far. I'm okay with this, so I'm going to click on leave here. And then to access your store's products, go to the bottom left here and click on the products tab on the lefth hand side. Here you'll see the demo products that came with our template. And these are just placeholders that are going to show you what a working store looks like, but we don't actually want them in our store. To do that, we'll need to clean them up by deleting them. You can do that by hovering over each item and clicking on trash. But to do it much quicker, just click on this little check box here. Then under bulk actions, click on move to trash and then click on apply. We still have four products left over. So, let's do the exact same thing again. And now all of our demo products that came imported from our template have now been removed. And we can begin adding in our own custom products. To add in your own custom product, go to the top here and click on add new product. And we'll start by giving our product a name. I'm going to name mine orange tea. And then we'll scroll down to our product description. When it comes to writing your product description, it's totally up to you. Just make sure to write about the key selling points of your product. In my case, I just use Chat GPT to help me generate an easyto- read description with some simple formatting to make it feel more polished. You can also add in images and other media here by clicking on the add media button. You can do this if you want, but I'm going to keep my visuals in the product image and gallery section over here. And we'll go ahead and do that now. To upload your product image, click on set product image here. Then click on select files to upload your image. I'll upload this image of my orange t-shirt here. Simply double click on it to upload. That image will now be uploaded here. The image has been uploaded. So I'll click on it to select it. Then I'll go to the bottom right here and click on set product image. If you have additional photos of your product that you want to include, click on add product gallery images. Then go to the top left here and click on upload files. Click on select files and then upload your additional images here. I'll click on open to upload the files. And if you see any other additional photos here that you haven't actually uploaded, these exist because of the demo products that we removed earlier. I'll give my additional photos a moment to upload. They've now been uploaded. So I'll select both of them here. Then I'll go to the bottom right and click on add to gallery. And now my product images have been uploaded to my product page. Now let's move on to the product data section below. This is where we can fill in some important information about the product. We'll first want to choose what kind of product this is. It's currently set to simple product, which we'll be going with for this particular product. But if I click into it here, you'll notice that there's also different types. We have group products, external/affiliate products, and variable products. In this tutorial, we'll be making a simple product, a grouped product, and a variable product. For now, let's keep it on simple product. You'll also notice that there's a toggle for virtual and downloadable products here as well, just in case you're selling any type of product like that. Next, let's set the price for our product. In my case, I'll set the price for $19.99. And if you're running a sale on the product, you can set the sale price below here as well. For example, I'll set it for $14.99. And you can also schedule out a sale in advance by clicking on the schedule button here. And you'll notice here on the lefth hand side, we have a few other tabs that we can utilize. First, let's click into the inventory tab. Here you can manage the inventory of your product. If you're looking to track inventory through Woo Commerce, then you're able to do that here. Next, let's click into the shipping tab. Here you can set the products weights and dimensions and choose if you want to have a shipping class set or not. Next, we'll go to linked products. This is good for upselling or cross-selling related products. Then we'll go to attributes. This is something that's more important for variable products, and we'll touch on this in just a few moments. And lastly, we have the advanced tab. This allows you to create a custom purchase note along with menu ordering and whether or not you want to enable reviews for your product. With that done, let's scroll down here and you'll notice the slug section. This is just the URL for the product page. Woo Commerce usually just automatically generates this from your product title, so you don't have to touch it. I'll leave this alone for now. And then we have our product short description here. You can summarize your product in one to two short sentences, and it will show up at the top of the product page. Again, I'm just going to leave this empty. Before I scroll up to the top of the page to publish our product, let's take a look at these small product descriptions here on the right hand side. The first one we have here is brands. This field shows up because of our template and you can use it if you're organizing products by a specific brand, but it's totally optional. Then we have product tags. These are more flexible. You can add keywords or labels here. For example, I could add orange or t-shirt as a product tag to help it be found easier on my website. And then lastly, we have our product categories. These are kind of like departments in a store. In my case, since I'm creating a clothing store, I could have a t-shirt category, a hoodie category, or an accessories category. This just helps organize your products and makes browsing easier for your customers. Now, let's scroll all the way up to the top here and begin publishing our new product. If you'd like to, you can save it as a draft if you want to work on it later. You can click on preview to preview how the product is going to look, but in our case, let's just click on publish. Now on the lefth hand side, let's go back to all products. And here you'll see that my orange t-shirt product was successfully published. Next, let's create a variable product. This is perfect for items that come in different sizes, colors, or styles. To do that, go up to the top and click on add new product. Again, I'll give the product a name, which is going to be multicolored beanie. You can add a description again if you want to. Then I'm going to scroll all the way down the page back to product data. We're going to change this from simple product to variable product. And we want to start by adding in attributes. So we'll click on attributes here. I'll close out of this little popup. Now we can create our custom attribute. We'll start by giving it a name. In my case, I'm selling these multicolored beanies. So I'm going to name this attribute color. But this could be anything depending on your product. If you're selling shirts, you might use size. If you're selling art prints, then maybe it could be a frame type. Whatever options your customer needs to choose from, that's what goes here. Once you've named your attribute, type out the different options and separate them using the pipe symbol. If you can't find it on your keyboard, hold down shift and look right above your enter key. Pressing it will reveal this little symbol here. And you'll separate your different options using this symbol. So my beanies are going to be gray, red, and green. Now, when my customer goes to my multicolored beanies product page, they can choose between these three different colors here. Now, once that's done, go ahead and click on save attributes to finalize it. Now that we've saved our attribute, we're ready to move into the variations tab. Let's go here and click on it on the lefth hand side. And this is where we can turn those color options into actual selectable products on your site. We'll be able to set each with its own price, image, and stock settings. Now, you'll see two options here. You can add each variation manually, which is helpful if you only want to offer a few combinations, or you can generate them automatically from the attributes that we just set. In my case, I'll go with generate variations. I'll click on it. Then I'll go to the top of my browser here and click on okay. Now, you'll see that those variations have been added down below. Now, we can actually add the correct information into each of our variants. Let's start with the gray beanie option here at the top and we'll go to the right hand side and click on edit. Now I can scroll down and here I can set all of the information just like I would for a regular standalone product. I can start by uploading a custom image here. To do that I'll simply click on this little image button here. I'll go to upload files. Click on select files. And here I have the three images that I'll be using for my variable product. Since I'm editing the gray beanie variant, I'll upload that image here by double clicking on it. That image will go ahead and upload. Now, that's now been uploaded here. And I'll click on set variation image. There we can see our product image appear here. And the only thing that we have to set here is the price. I'll set this for $14.99. And once again, you can include a sale price if you want to. Then you have all the other information here if you'd like to include it, like if you're doing inventory, shipping, and whatnot. And then to fill out the rest of the variants, just simply open them up with the edit button here and fill out the same information. I'm going to go ahead and do that for both the red and the green beanies. I'll fast forward and I'll meet you when it's complete. Okay, so I've now filled out all three of the variants with their appropriate information and pictures. One other thing that I want to call out before we move on and publish our product is the default form value block here. If I click into it, I'm able to set a primary color or a primary variation for this product. Let's say that I typically sell this beanie in gray, like that's the main color I'm selling it in. When my customer clicks on my product, it's going to automatically populate with the gray variation. So, I'll click on that. Then I'll go down and click on save changes to finalize everything here. Next, I'll scroll up and for my product image, I'll click on set product image again. And since I'm primarily selling the gray beanie, I'll select this image here and then click on set product image in the bottom right. Now, let's scroll up to the top and click on publish. Now, on the lefth hand side, let's go back to all products. And now we have our orange tea and our multicolored beanie products ready to be put onto our website. And finally, we're going to create a grouped product. This is a great way to showcase related items together on a single page. For example, maybe you're selling a matching t-shirt and beanie together like I am, and you want to feature them as a set. But in other niches, for example, like tech, maybe you're selling a keyboard, mouse, and wrist rest all together as a grouped product. And then for HomeGoods, you might sell a bedding set with sheets and pillowcases. The key thing is that these products all make sense together and your customer can still choose what they want to buy individually from the set. But whenever you create group products, it helps increase the average order value by showing your customer all of these related items. So to create a group product, go up to the top and once again click on add new product. Then we'll scroll all the way down to our product data and click on the simple product drop down here and change it to grouped product. And then on the left hand side we'll go to linked products and then we'll click on grouped products here. And for my grouped product I want to sell my orange t-shirt and then my multicolored beanie that I just created. So I'll search for the orange tea and click that here. And then I'll look up multicolored beanie. And I'll select that here. And below this here, you'll also notice another section called upsells. And this is totally separate. If you want to suggest other products to show up on the product page, like a you may also like section, then you can add those here. This is great for encouraging add-ons or alternative options like a different style of beanie or a premium version of a product. Now, let's scroll up to the top here, and we want to give this group product a name. That makes sense. For example, I could go with matching tea and beanie set. And then for our product image down here, we'll want to add in a product image that makes sense for the bundle. So I'll click on set product image. I'll go to upload files in the top left and click on select files. And then I have this custom image here that combines both the orange tea and the gray beanie into a single photo. So I'll double click on that to upload. Give that a second to upload here. Then I'll go ahead and select it and go to the bottom right and click on set product image. Now with that done, let's click on the blue publish button to finish up this grouped product. Then once again, I'll go back to the lefth hand side and click on all products. And now we've created a simple product, a variable product, and a grouped product. And these are now all ready and available to be added to our store. Now that we've created the products, let's go back to our homepage and actually add them onto our site so we can see what everything looks like. To get back there, let's go to the top here and click on edit homepage. Then go to the top left here and click on this blue plus button. Next, you'll want to scroll all the way down until you see the Woo Commerce blocks. It'll look just like this. And these blocks are super important. It's what connects the products that you just added in Woo Commerce to your store layout. Woo Commerce essentially handles all of your products in the back end. And then these blocks let you pull them onto your site visually wherever you want. So let's scroll down here and find the new arrivals block. And then I'll simply click on it to add it onto my website. And there we go. Just like that, it shows the three products that we just created. And then my customer is able to click into them and actually add them to their cart. If you want to adjust anything here, just simply click into it. Then you have these options here on the right hand side. And now if I want to see what the product page actually looks like, let's click on the preview button here at the top to open up our website in another window. And then I'll scroll down to our new arrival section here. And let's click into the orange T. Here, if I scroll down, I have the add to cart button. I can see my product photo, the other photos that I have here as well. If I scroll down, we'll also find the product description where our customers can leave reviews. And then once my customer is ready to add the product to their cart, they can click on add to cart right here. And now that they've done this, we haven't actually configured our payments yet. There's no way for us to receive the payment and get paid. So, let's jump into how to do that now. Let's go ahead and close this tab here. We'll click on save to save our progress so far. Then we'll go back to the WordPress logo here on the lefth hand side and then we'll click into it. Then to set up our payments on the lefth hand side, let's go down to the payments button here and we'll click into it. Then for our payment providers, we have a couple different options. If you want an all-in-one, pretty beginnerfriendly option, you can go with Woo Payments here. But for this video, we're going to be going with PayPal payments and Stripe. The reason we're doing that is because it gives us a bit more control over the payments overall, and it can save us some money on transaction fees. To enable PayPal payments, let's click on the blue enable button here. And then to install the Stripe platform, scroll down here and under other payment options, click into it. Scroll down and find Stripe and click install underneath it. That will go ahead and install. Let's go ahead and refresh the page here. And now we'll see that PayPal and Stripe have setups that need to be completed. These only take a few minutes. You'll just simply need to create an account for both of these platforms with your personal information. And then you'll be able to start accepting payments from both PayPal and Stripe. Now, with that done, let's go ahead and talk about setting up our shipping rates. To find your shipping settings, scroll up to the top here and click on shipping. and let's click on add zone. For the zone name, let's enter United States. Then for the region, I'll look up United States again. Scroll down and check on the US. And then for our shipping method, let's click on add shipping method. And here we can choose between free shipping, flat rate, or local pickup. If you plan on offering free shipping, then you can go ahead and do that here. But if you want to charge a flat rate for shipping, go ahead and click on flat rate. Then click on continue. And here you can set the cost. For example, I'll set my shipping to $10. Then I'll click on create and save. And now I have a flat rate shipping fee. Okay. So we now have the United States set up as our main shipping zone with a flat rate. Now let's handle shipping to the rest of the world. To do that, let's scroll up and click on the back button here. And here under rest of the world, we're able to cover the shipping zones for everywhere else. And for the rest of the world zone here, this zone applies to any country that's not covered by your other zones. Depending on your store, you might not want to offer international shipping, or you might choose not to if it's too expensive. This is totally up to you. If your main customers are inside the United States or whatever country you're primarily selling in, you don't have to configure this. For now, I'll just leave the rest of the world zone as it is because I only plan on selling inside the US. Okay, now our shipping is set. Let's move on to taxes. In order to enable automated taxes in Woo Commerce, we'll need to install two separate plugins. They're called Jetack and Woo Commerce Tax. Jetack is required behind the scenes so that Woo Commerce can securely calculate and sync tax rates through WordPress. To install these plugins, go to the lefth hand side here, scroll down and under plugins, click on add plugin. Now, Jetack for me shows up right here at the top. And if it doesn't for you, just search for Jetack here in the top right. I'm going to install Jetack here. And once it's done installing, I'm going to click on activate. I'm going to click the X here in the top right and then from here scroll down and find the connect my account button here at the bottom. Let's click into it and we'll scroll down and click on connect your user account. Then click on approve. And now we'll need to install the Woo Commerce tax plugin. So now let's scroll down and go back to plugins. Then click on add plugin. Then in the top right, search up tax. Then under Woo Commerce tax, click on install now. And once it's installed, click on activate. And then you'll need to click on the big blue connect button right here. Now we should be connected. If you scroll down here, you'll see the Woo Commerce tax here, and it is now activated. Now, we'll want to toggle on the automated tax setting. So, go up to Woo Commerce here in the top left, and then click on settings. Let's scroll down here and find the enable taxes setting. You'll want to check on enable tax rates and calculations. Then, we'll scroll down the page here and click on save changes. And now there will be a new tab available at the top here that says tax. So let's click into it. And then for automated taxes, it's currently set to disable automated taxes. So let's click into it and then click on enable automated taxes. Here you have some other settings that you configure based on your exact tax scenario. I'm happy with everything being left as default. So I'll scroll down and click on save changes. And there we go. We now have automated taxes set up for our store. With that configured and turned on, we'll never have to worry about that again. Now, before we launch our store and go live, let's configure a special coupon code. To do that, under Woo Commerce, click on the coupons button here. Then, click on create your first coupon. First, we'll have to create a coupon code. For example, if we wanted to offer a 10% off coupon, we could do 10 off. And when someone types in that coupon code and applies it to their purchase, it's going to give them 10% off. Then you can add a description. This isn't going to be seen by the customer. It's only going to be seen by you. Then we want to configure our coupon data. Here we have three different types of discount types. We have a fixed cart discount, a percentage discount, and a fixed product discount. For my coupon, I'm going to go with a percentage. And then for the coupon amount, I'm going to set that to 10. We can also choose we want this coupon to allow free shipping and also set an expiration date. You'll notice here we also have two tabs on the lefth hand side. We have usage restriction and usage limits. In the usage restriction tab, you can limit the coupon to certain products. You can set a minimum order amount or exclude sale items. And then under usage limits, you can control how many times the code can be used total or by customer. with all of our settings configured here. Once you're happy with everything, go to the right hand side and click on publish. And with that done, your coupon is now going to be live. All right, we're nearly there. Let's now get our store online and place a test order to make sure that everything is working properly. To bring our site online, let's go to Woo Commerce here on the lefth hand side and click into settings. Then go to site visibility here. Let's change it from coming soon to live. We'll select this here and then click on save changes. Now, from here, I'm going to open a new tab. I'm going to type in my domain, which is calebmedia.com. Going to click enter. Now, I'm going to scroll down to my products here. For my orange tea, I'm going to click on add to cart. I'm going to scroll back up here, click into my cart, then go to checkout in the bottom. Now, I'm going to fill out my billing information and place a test order to make sure that everything is working properly. I have my billing information set up here. So, I'm going to scroll down and then I'm going to fill in the card number. Stripe will automatically be in test mode, which means we can place an order without actually paying for it. You'll use the test card number here simply by copying and pasting it in here. Then you can enter any expiration date or security code. I'll scroll down and disable this. And then I'll click on place order. And once this goes through, it'll show us that everything is set up on our end and everything is ready to go. As you can see here, it says that the order has been received. It was placed. And with that done, you've now set up your very own e-commerce store using Woo Commerce.
