In this video, I'll walk you through each one and show you exactly which tool is best for building your website quickly and easily using AI. Let's start with the first option, Doric. Doric is a lightweight platform that keeps things simple. And Doric is a good choice if you want to build a quick portfolio or small business site without dealing with too many options. You just enter a short AI prompt and Dor creates a homepage for you. It asks for very little before giving you a draft to work with. You can even watch the site come together in real time, which feels satisfying. The AI only builds the homepage. You'll need to create and connect your additional web pages manually. And the AI results are decent. It gave me a usable layout with placeholder content, but the layout options can be a little tricky to work with. The editing interface lies somewhere between simple and complex, and I found it harder to use than some of the other website builders I've tried. The experience feels closer to an AI site generator than to a polished template system. If you don't like the AI's results, you can skip and prompt to start with a template instead. The selection of templates isn't huge, which is good if you don't want many to sort through, and I felt like the templates were a little more polished and cohesive than AI generated versions. Doric's personal plan starts at $18 per month for a single custom domain or $39 per month for the business plan, which allows three to 10 custom domains. One unique thing about Dor's pricing is they offer a $249 personal lifetime plan, which could be quite competitive if you keep the site for several years. And if the lifetime plan is appealing to you, it's worth a look. Next up is Tenweb, which combines AI speed with the flexibility of WordPress. What makes Tenweb different is that it's built on WordPress, which is super popular, but it uses AI to automate that setup. You still get full access to WordPress plugins, themes, and the admin panel, but without the initial setup. You don't even need to spend any time signing up for Tenweb. You can start right away by entering a site prompt on their homepage. After a few prompts, Tenweb shows you a sitemap preview and a progress bar as the site builds. The result, a website with a homepage and connected subpages that match your prompt. This was one of the most impressive tools I tested because it felt like I was building the site on the fly instead of just editing templates. While templates can deliver solid results, Tenweb really sets itself apart from other website builders by building the website without needing templates. Once the site is ready, you'll edit it with Elementor, a popular drag and drop builder for WordPress. So, if you've used WordPress or Elementor before, you're going to feel right at home. If not, there may be a learning curve while you edit your site, as Elementor offers more controlled and simple editors, but it's still easier than advanced website tools. It's helpful for small tweaks, though it can be slow and a little hit or miss in terms of prompting. If you're open to using AI generated images on your website, Tenweb has some of the better AI image generations that I've seen across the builders. But if you'd rather use all of your own content, the images are easily replaceable. TenWeb gives you a 3-day free trial and 15 AI credits to get started. Now, those credits run out quickly if you make a lot of changes, so it's best to plan ahead before regenerating your layouts. And the 3-day trial goes quickly as well. So, if you want some more time to evaluate a builder without paying upr cost $13 a month for simpler sites, and $18 a month for AI Premium with expanded storage, visitors, and AI limits. AI Ultimate costs $28 a month and unlocks much faster loading times. Tenweb is a great option if you want to work within WordPress but skip the setup headaches. It's ideal for freelancers, agencies, or anyone who wants AI features and a quick setup. It offers good results without giving up too much flexibility, and it's not terribly expensive. Now, let's look at one of the most well-known builders, Wix. Wix is known for giving users lots of flexibility. It has tools for everything from portfolios and blogs to small business websites and online stores. It's great if you want to balance between AIES and full creative control when needed. You start with Wix AI website creator, their AI powered setup tool. It asks a few quick questions about your site, then builds a complete layout for you. It includes placeholder content, a color palette, and images. From there, you can start to customize everything using the editor. Researching for this video was actually the first time I personally used Wix. And the editor itself is good for a beginner like me. It's drag and drop, but unlike other builders, Wix lets you place elements anywhere instead of snapping to a grid. You also get more control over margins and padding, so you can space elements how you'd like. This is great for creative freedom, especially if you have some design skills or familiarity with website builders, but it can feel a little overwhelming if you're just starting out. And I noticed that I was slower to find and learn settings than I was with some of the other website builders. Wix also gives you access to over 900 templates and an app market with tools for marketing, scheduling, online orders, and more. You'll have a lot of flexibility with your website with support for blogs, memberships, paid plans, and online courses. The trade-off with all the power and flexibility that Wix provides is that it's more complex than the other options that I'll show you. Wix gives you room to grow into the more advanced features over time, but if you're making a simpler site or want to get your website running quickly, it might be overkill. Wix has a free plan with a Wix subdomain, which is great for testing, but it includes the Wix branding. Paid plans start at $17 a month for the light plan, which removes ads and allows for a custom domain. The core plan at $29 a month adds more storage, more collaborators, and payment tools. The business plan at $39 a month builds on the core plan, and business elite at $159 a month includes the full feature set, including advanced analytics and all the e-commerce tools. Next up is Squarespace, a platform known for its elegant templates and clean, intuitive design system. Squarespace is popular with creatives and small businesses that want a stylish site without a complicated editor. If you want something that looks great right away, Squarespace is a solid option. The AI engine is called Blueprint AI and it lives up to the name because like a blueprint, the experience on Squarespace feels like constructing a template layout of your website instead of prompting AI to create it. This is different from tools that generate whole sites with AI, but I see that as a good thing in my opinion. It walks you through a simple guided setup. You describe your site, answer a few prompts, and Squarespace will design a homepage layout that fits your needs. Another benefit of using Squarespace is that the pages beyond just the homepage are all constructed and linked in the navigation when you use Blueprint. Once Blueprint creates the layout, it's easy to customize each section. You can choose from dozens of layout blocks and add free stock images from Unsplash right inside the builder. That said, unlike some other AI tools, Squarespace doesn't currently generate written copy or images using AI. So, you'll still need to supply or edit your own content. I don't see this as a big negative since you should replace placeholders anyway. After all, you know your brand and customers best. So, it's good to use your own copy and your own images. However, if you planned to quickly use AI to generate some of that content in order to quickly launch your site, this might be a deal breakaker. The editor is different from Wix because it uses a grid system. This keeps layouts clean and consistent and makes editing easier, but limits customization, at least compared to Wix. Still, everything feels polished. You can set button styles, pick section layouts, and manage brand colors and fonts easily. Pricing starts at $16 a month for the basic plan. The core plan starts at $23 a month and will add useful features like the announcement bar shown at the top of your website. The next plan up is called Plus, and that starts at $39 a month. And if selling is a big part of your business, the advanced plan at $99 a month unlocks the most tools and lowest fees. But you can experiment with the 14-day free trial, which is great. Squarespace is a fitting choice if you want a professionallook site that's easy to launch and manage. It's especially strong for visual creators, solo business owners, or anyone who values structure and ease over endless customization. I've been a customer for years, but this was my first time using Blueprint AI. The output felt cleaner and more modern than some of the other tools I've tried, and it was more intuitive and faster to find tools and settings than with some of the other builders. Next up is Hostinger, which offers one of the fastest ways to get a full website up and running using AI. Hostinger is mainly known as a hosting platform, but their AI website builder has become a solid option for beginners who want a well-rounded experience at a great price. It's best if you're on a budget and want something simple. I also found it one of the easiest to use, even as a first-time user. The process starts immediately with the AI generator. You enter your brand name and a short description, and Hostinger builds a full site from that. If you don't like the result, you can regenerate the design as many times as you'd like. Or if you'd rather skip the AI, you can start from a pre-made template instead. I preferred my template example with Hostinger, but either way, the result is a slick looking site with all of the pages already created and linked together, which helps speed things up. In the editor, the layouts follow a grid system with snapping enabled. It gives you less control than Wix and feels closer to Squarespace. It may even be simpler than Squarespace, but the trade-off is a more intuitive editing experience. If you don't need the control, it's easy to move things around and get a clean, functional layout without fighting the interface. You also get 50 AI credits to generate content and images. Each time you generate, Hostinger gives you two image options to pick from, which is a nice touch. And I also tested the AI logo generator included in the business plan, which was okay for a simple line art logo. One downside is that you have to pay upfront for Hostinger. There's no free plan or trial, but there is a 30-day money back guarantee, so you can request a refund within 30 days if it isn't working for you. The plan most people will want, the business website builder plan, is about $60 for the first year if you pay upfront. That's without any discount. So, I'll tell you about a better deal in a minute, but if you're comfortable committing to at least a year, Hostinger is a great way to go. It's an affordable all-in-one solution that gets your site live quickly. The editing is simple, and while its AI images and copies aren't as strong as Tenwebs, it offers more generative functionality than Squarespace. It's ideal for small business owners, freelancers, or anyone who wants the simplicity of a bundled AI builder and hosting plan. Each website builder in this video has its best use case, and the right choice really depends on your goals, your budget, and how much control you want. Doric works well if you want a clean, simple site and a minimal workflow, or if the lifetime plan appeals to you. Otherwise, other options may give you more features and be easier to edit. If you're on a budget, need to launch fast, and want to have access to AI generation, Hostinger is one of the most affordable ways to get a site online because Hosting and the AI builder are bundled together. And for e-commerce, several builders here offer higher tier plans that allow selling, but Shopify or Shopify combined with Atlas can set your store up surprisingly fast. There are great tools for managing your store, and if e-commerce is your focus, it makes Shopify and Atlas an easy choice.
