so in the past few months I've spent countless hours trying all the most popular website Builders and in this video I'm going to go over each of them and tell you exactly which one is the best choice for you I've even created complete beginner tutorials for every website builder mentioned in this video so once you've decided which one is right for you you can use these tutorials to create your website step by step you'll find all of them down below in the video description the first website builder on the list is Wix with 43% of the market share Wix is the most used all-in-one website builder in the world it's geared towards small businesses and individuals who are looking for an all-in-one tool to build pretty much any kind of website to create a website using Wix you can start by answering a few simple questions and then Wix will generate a custom template for you using wix's new AI tool or you can simply choose a pre-designed template from their library to customize your website you'll use wix's Simple drag and drop editor you can rearrange Elements by simply dragging them to a different position on the page and to add a new element just drag it from the sidebar onto the page customize it and place it wherever you want this Builder offers great design flexibility you can position elements literally anywhere on the page with Pixel Perfect Precision in comparison other drag and drop website Builders often restrict you to predefined guidelines like a grid which can limit your creative freedom what truly sets Wix apart from other platforms is the large variety of options you get over 900 website templates over 800 apps in the Wix app market and a wide range of design elements for customization while it's good to have many options if you're completely new to building websites the sheer number of possibilities design Freedom can be a bit overwhelming I definitely experienced this myself when I first started using Wix now let's look at pricing Wix offers a free plan which allows you to publish a simple website on a Wix subdomain and there will be Wix ads displayed on your page for $17 a month you'll be able to publish on your own domain and get rid of the Wix ads if you need more storage or want to accept payments you'll need to choose the2 $9 or $36 per month plan and to remove all limits there's the business elite plan at $159 per month overall I think Wix is a great option if you're looking for an all-in-one website builder with many templates and great flexibility in terms of design and features now let's move on to the second website builder on this list which is Squarespace after weeks Squarespace is the second largest all-in-one website builder and it's often called the apple of website Builders because of its intuitive and clean design creating a website with Squarespace is very similar to Wix you can either use their new AI tool to build a custom template or choose a pre-designed template Squarespace offers around 150 website templates which is a significantly smaller selection compared to Wix however all of the templates look very artistic and modern which is something Squarespace is known for to customize your website you'll also be using a drag and drop editor just like on Wix but it's a bit more restrictive for example you can only place elements inside a predefined grid which can feel a bit limiting sometimes but it also makes it a lot easier for beginners to create a clean layout I think Squarespace has a good balance between ease of use and flexibility without being overly complicated for beginners Squarespace also has its own app Marketplace called Squarespace extensions however with only around 45 extensions it has far fewer options than Wix in general Squarespace focuses more on buildin features for a more streamlined experience it's also very popular among artists photographers and designers looking to create a beautiful and clean portfolio website and in my opinion it's also a good alternative to Wordpress for starting a blog it allows you to create manage and optimize your blog content very easily without having to install a lot of extra plugins like you would have to do on WordPress when it comes to pricing Squarespace doesn't offer a free plan but they do have a 14-day free trial after the trial you can choose the basic plan for $16 a month with basic features and the ability to accept payments with a 2% transaction fee the core plan at $23 a month unlocks more features and remove moves the 2% transaction fee and then there's two more plans for even more features and less limits at $39 and $99 per month overall I would say Squarespace is a great option if you're looking for an easy to use all-in-one platform to build a beautiful website without needing maximum design Freedom or tons of options for additional features and for those of you who are trying to decide between Wix and Squarespace I've made a complete video comparing just these two side by side which I link up here in the cards the next website builder I want to talk about is webflow like Wix and Squarespace webflow is an all-in-one website builder with a visual drag and drop editor it's more geared towards professional web designers who want to create something completely custom and unique the editor feels more like a graphic design tool kind of like Photoshop compared to your typical website builder with webflow you get maximum creative freedom and control over your designs you can build almost anything you can imagine without needing to write any code and if you like creating your designs in figma webflow has a really cool plugin called sync figma to webflow it basically lets you convert your figma designs directly into a functioning website and any changes you make in figma will automatically be updated in webflow webflow also has a powerful content management system that allows you to create Dynamic websites like blogs or portfolios and when it comes to templates webflow has an Open Marketplace with over 6,000 options some are free but most cost between $50 and $130 and there's a bit over a 100 apps available in the app market place to add extra functionality to your webflow site just like Wix webflow also offers a free plan which allows you to publish your site on a web flow.io domain but you're limited to just two pages PES the basic plan at $14 per month allows you to use your own domain and add up to 150 Pages if you want to use their CMS for example to create a blog or portfolio you'll need the CMS plan starting at $23 per month and for larger sites there's the business plan at $39 per month for e-commerce websites webflow has separate plans priced at $29 $774 and $212 per month in my opinion webflow is not the best choice if you're just looking to quickly set up a simple website but if you want full design freedom and you don't mind learning a more advanced tool it's absolutely worth considering it's especially amazing for designers who want to build stunning websites without needing a developer the next website builder we're going to look at is Shopify Shopify is very different compared to the other options in this video because it's designed specifically for building online stores and e-commerce businesses so if the main focus of your website is not selling products online then you don't need to consider Shopify however if you plan on building an online store then Shopify is definitely one of the best options to build your store you'll first have to choose a theme currently there's 13 free themes and just over 200 paid themes ranging from1 to $500 unlike previous website Builders we've covered Shopify doesn't have a drag and drop Builder instead you'll have to add predesigned sections to your page and then customize the layout and design through the options in the side menu this definitely does limit your design freedom but it also makes setting up your store very easy and quick plus you won't have to spend additional time optimizing your website for mobile where Shopify really shines is the back end of your online store it's designed to simplify the complexities of running an e-commerce business with things like Inventory management order fulfillment Payment Processing customer email Automation and a lot more another big advantage of using Shopify is their huge App Store with over 8,000 apps allowing you to add tons of additional features to your store Shopify currently offers a 3-day free trial followed by a 3 months pay trial for $1 per month after that there are different plans ranging from $29 all the way up to $2,300 per month the main difference between these plans is the transaction fee that you'll have to pay for every sale on your store so it makes sense to start with the basic plan and then upgrade to a higher plan to reduce transaction fees once you start making more sales on your store so if you want to build an online store very easily and quickly and you don't care so much about having a very customized design for your website I definitely recommend men checking out Shopify the next website builder we'll take a look at is the hostinger website builder hostinger is best known as a hosting company that provides servers for hosting websites however since 2019 hostinger has also offered its own website builder and it's actually quite good just like Wix and Squarespace hostinger lets you create your own template using AI or choose from a library of around 150 predesigned templates you can customize your website using a simple drag and drop editor which feels a bit like a simpler version of the Wix editor you can also use this website builder to create a basic blog or small e-commerce website overall the hosting or website builder is simpler and offers fewer features compared to the more established website Builders mentioned previously in this video at the moment there's also no dedicated app Marketplace for adding extra functionalities however hostinger is rapidly adding new features and constantly improving their product they even have a public road map where you can see which features are coming next but I think one of the biggest reasons to choose the hosting or website builder is the price with their Premium plan you can build and run your website for as little as $249 per month keep in mind though that this price only applies for the first four years if you pay upfront and after that it renews at $7.99 per month which also needs to be paid in advance for the next 4-year term even so it's still much cheaper than most other options you're essentially getting the convenience of an all-in-one website builder for the price of running a WordPress website which is generally much less expensive than allinone platforms because you're essentially paying for a server that happens to have a website builder included you can create up to 100 websites on the same plan at no extra cost on other platforms like Wix or Squarespace you need to pay for separate subscriptions for each new website you want to create so if you're planning to create more than one website choosing hostinger can definitely save you a lot is still the most popular way to create and manage websites in fact over 43% of all websites are running on WordPress it's important to note that WordPress is not an all-in-one website builder like the others we've talked about in this video instead it's a free to use open-source content management system that allows you to create and manage websites without needing to write any code because WordPress is not an all-in-one solution it comes with some additional responsibilities you're going to have to manage things like hosting and security yourself making it a bit more Technical and harder to get started so if you're new to Wordpress it can definitely feel a bit overwhelming at first and you might need to spend some time watching tutorials and learn how to manage everything honestly this is one of the major downsides of using Wordpress nevertheless WordPress does have some major advantages that make it worth considering first WordPress has a massive ecosystem with over 30,000 themes and more than 70,000 plugins this gives you virtually unlimited options to customize and expand your website you can also install a drag and drop website builder like Elemental tour whenever you like with most website Builders you're basically logged into their platform so for example if they raise prices you can't just move your website to another host and finally running a
